The College of Policing has launched the final report of its Leadership Review.
The Review makes ten recommendations aimed at ensuring future leaders of policing will have the skills and knowledge to lead the service effectively.
Association President Chief Superintendent Irene Curtis, who is chairing the panel discussion at the launch event on June 30, said:
“The Leadership Review has examined the changing environment in which policing operates and contains recommendations that will lead to changes in both the leadership of policing and the way the police operate.
“The detail of how these recommendations will be implemented has still to be debated and ultimately decided, but it is clear there is an ambition for positive change.”
The full report can be read on the College of Policing website.
