As in previous years, the Association is carrying out a survey to provide a better understanding of the resilience of its members.
For the first time this will be a joint survey with colleagues from Scotland and Northern Ireland, funded with support from the Police Mutual Foundation.
The Association considers members’ command resilience, health, safety and well-being to be a priority. These surveys provide data to inform and support the work we do on your behalf, and we will use this year’s results in our discussions with individual forces as well as with national stakeholders.
The previous survey had a response rate of 81% and we aim to improve that this year. Members are asked to complete the survey and to encourage their colleagues in the Superintending ranks to do the same.
The survey is secure, anonymous and confidential: your answers will be analysed by an independent occupational health psychologist from our partners Affinity Health at Work, who will ensure they are treated with complete confidentiality.
It will take about 10 minutes to complete and in doing so, you are helping not only yourself but also other members of the Association and future superintendents across the UK.
The link to the survey has been sent by email to all members. If you have not received it, please let your branch executive team know or contact the national office at Pangbourne.
The survey is open until Monday, December 12.
